How to Vote in the November 2nd Election

The 2021 Medford Municipal Election for Mayor, City Council, and School Committee is on November 2nd. This election will decide how much progress we make in the next two years, so we need strong turnout. Voters must be registered by October 13, 2021 to be eligible.

Our Revolution Medford has endorsed Zac Bears, Kit Collins, Abigail Dickson, Nicole Morell, and Justin Tseng for Medford City Council as well as Jenny Graham, Sharon Hays, Mea Mustone, and Paul Ruseau for Medford School Committee. Learn more about these candidates and our endorsements here.

Are you registered to vote?

Confirm your voter registration here. If you need to register and currently have a Massachusetts driver’s license or state ID card, you may use the online voter registration application. Otherwise, register in person at Medford Registrar of Voters Office (City Hall Room 102).

Vote on Election Day: Tuesday, November 2nd

Polls are open from 7:00AM to 8:00PM on Election Day. Find your polling place here.

Vote Early at Medford City Hall

In-person early voting will be held at Medford City Hall during the last week of October.

  • Saturday, 10/23 9AM-5PM
  • Monday, 10/25 8:30AM-4:30PM
  • Tuesday, 10/26 8:30AM-4:30PM
  • Wednesday, 10/27 8:30AM-7:30PM
  • Thursday, 10/28 8:30AM-4:30PM

Vote By Mail. Request an absentee ballot by printing, physically signing, and returning this application form to the Registrar of Voters office in City Hall by October 27th (mail or hand it in).

When you receive your ballot in the mail, you can return it at City Hall during business hours, drop it at the Drop Box by the East side entrance (Clippership Drive), or mail it back (be careful of USPS delays).
