Medford and Somerville are renegotiating the Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) and Community Benefits agreement with Tufts University since their agreement ended in June 2018.

Our Revolution Medford is working to make sure Medford residents have input into the new agreement. The following all key areas:
- Build high density on campus housing by the expiration of this contract without increasing Tufts’ current land use footprint by 2022
- Educational opportunities at Tufts for Medford Students
- Requirement for an Tufts Institutional Master Plan to be released to the City including information about the off campus housing needs for Tufts Students
- Transportation from Tufts to Medford Square
